BC LIONS

HOME OPENER RECAP

My first game with the BC Lions was a surreal experience. Adjusting to shooting football was a challenge, but an incredibly fun and rewarding one. There’s not much of a better atmosphere than a packed BC Place.

ORANGE SHIRT DAY RUN OUT

The annual Orange Shirt Day game at BC Place is an incredible night of festivities beyond just football. This event goes beyond in all aspects, and this run-out was like no other during the season. The best way to start such an important night, and these guys were ready.

Winning is fun

BC Lions vs Ottawa Redblacks recap. This game was so much fun. After being down by more than 20 in the 3rd, the Lions dominatedly came back to win this game. It just doesn’t get better than winning.

RUN OUT

This was my first time shooting run out at the goal post and it did not disappoint. There is no better way to capture the production that BC Lions games are, and the energy that this team brings to every game.

WATERMELON SMASH

The Lions vs. the Roughriders is a rivalry matchup every year, with fans from both teams filling up BC Place. But pre-game is where most of the fun was had with the iconic street party with Lions fans on one side, and Sask on the other… you can imagine how that goes down.

"BATMAN" HOLLINS

The Lions posted this throwback recently and it was one of my favourite shots of the season. Getting the crowd POV for this shot was special, and highlighted the exact feeling of this 71-yard TD pass. Just dancing into the endzone, “how did he get this wide open?!”

SIGHTS & SOUNDS

The third annual Orange Shirt Day game was so special, and I had the opportunity to cover every aspect of it as shown in this video. The night was all about Truth & Reconciliation in our community and having the chance to shoot coverage on it was so special.
